Day ?…Who’s counting!

That’s right I have lost track of my days but who’s counting, I stopped and here’s why?

During my detox diet I have learned soooo much about my health. As you know I started this particular journey because I wanted to loose some unwanted fat in my face and upper body. Well as it turns out, I actually have thyroid issues. So detoxing alone will not cure this, my body is iodine deficient. Now don’t get me wrong detoxing was very helpful, I lost a total of 5 pounds in less than 2 weeks. One of the detox methods Carolyn mentions in the program is the Master Cleanse diet. I was so amped up about doing this cleanse but after 3 wonderful days I ended it. I lost my last 2 pounds in those 3 days….wow…I was happy and thankful that I didn’t turn over and die from not eating nothing…lol. Not having to cook any meals for three days gave me a lot of free time to research and this is how I found out my thyroid issue. I think I had every symptom u can think of. So now I am on a journey to cure myself of this issue. Eating right and exercise is only one part, I now have to restore my body back to optimal health. I recently purchased some lugol’s Iodine solution and other vitamins to get me there. I will inform you guys…my wonderful supporters of my condition.

P.S. Let me say this…because my issue is not life threatening and I am fully aware on how to care for myself, I will do so. But if you have serious health issues please seek outside health care professionals for help!
