As promised, I have recipes to share and an update on my status. As of today I weigh 130 pds. I have lost a total of 3 pds this week. This detox is not based off the amount of weight I lose, my weight loss basically shows my progress. When detoxing, your expelling toxins and fats stored in your body. As they are released from your body, you tend to shed pounds and body mass. In my case I have been focused on the weight but next week I will start to monitor my body mass. Alrighty…I want to share with you a normal menu I plan for the day. As I told you in day 6, it is imperative that you make a weekly meal plan (that plan will truly help you stay on track). Up first is my breakfast (let me add this, I drink a full glass of water to begin my day…this is after I’ve gotten out of bed, showered and brushed my teeth). After my first intake of water is out the way, I start on my smoothie..I showed you in day 6 how I prep my smoothie the night before…read here. Below is another smoothie I made, I call it “very berry smoothie”. Ingredients: 5 Strawberries Raspberries, palm full Blueberries, palm full 2 Peaches, peeled and seeded 2 tbsp Flax seed milled 2 tbsp Agave 1 1/2 cup Ice I drink at least 1-2 glasses of water before I eat lunch. This is an example of my daily lunch…Cucumber Salad._ Ingredients: 1 Large Cucumber, sliced & cut into bite size pieces 1 Roma Tomato, sliced & cut into bite size pieces 1 Garlic clove, peeled & sliced into small pieces 1/2 Lemon, juiced Drizzle a little olive oil over top along with fresh rosemary, fresh and dried oregano and my famous homemade dry season salt…YUMMMY!!! Just like my lunch, I drink another 2 glasses of water before dinner. This is an example of my evening dinner…Chicken Tacos._ Ingredients: Chicken Tenderloins, cooked and cut into bite sizes Taco Shells Roman Lettuce, sliced Salsa I cooked my chicken in a hot pan with a small amount of olive oil. After it was fully done(I drained the liquid), I cut the tenderloins into bite size pieces. I added a small amount of water and my seasoning. I let it cook a little longer to make sure everything is incorporated…that’s it. When I get hungry in-between meals, I snack on some trail-mix. I try to have at least 2 more glasses of water before I go to bed. If I can do this..anybody can! I have a sweet treat I’ll be sharing with you next week, I will also tell you about this wonderful detox plan that shows you everything you need to do while your detoxing, plus a new video. Stay tuned…I have more share!
