CAUTION! Only burn in a well ventilated room or outdoors.
Herbal incense of this kind are only meant to be burned on charcoal disks in very tiny amounts while you focus your intentions on the magic you wish to create.
If you're not familiar with this process, you place a charcoal disk in a sensor or on a heat safe bowl or plate, such as cast iron or pottery. Be sure the heat isn't going to come in direct contact with your table or work space as the charcoal gets really hot! Light the charcoal disk until it begins to spark. You'll see it begin to turn gray on one side where it's lit. Sprinkle a pinch of the incense blend on top of the charcoal disk. Smoke will rise from the incense to create a mystical environment for your magical workings. When the smoke goes out or the herbs burn up, scrap the old mixture off the top of the disk and replace with a new pinch. The charcoal disk will burn about 45 - 60 min unless extinguished. By covering it up with salt or sand, you'll put out the charcoal safely by smothering it with a substance that absorbs the heat. Be sure not to touch the hot disk or plate, use a knife or other tool.
